Circumcising Evolution

Evolutionary theory has big banged into the world as a meteor with Darwin’s Natural Selection. It would be incredulous endorse the Darwinian mode of evolution. If Man descended from Apes, where the fossils showing the stages of transition. The second argument is no humans look alike but all animals bear the same resemblance. Man has got a mind to think cognize and feel whereas animals are driven by instinct. Man’s finger prints are unique. I fully adhere to the view of creation of humans by God.

The Murder at Ryan International School

I happened to read the shocking news of Child being molested and his throat being slit in one of India’s prominent International Schools. Despite stringent police checks pedophiles are able to transcend the safety net. There are many cases of pedophilia especially the one that happened in Jakarta’s leading International School. Why do these dastardly acts happen? It could be explained psychoanalytically as the perversion of the Oedipal Complex. Childhood traumas of the perpetrators are internalized and then projected into an ego bashing on kids. Now days schools do a strict background check up on their employees. But is that enough? It is rather surprising that those who abuse kids turn out to be men. I think Freud is wrong that women go through an oedipal trauma. In today’s electronic world and the sleazy slums of the third world Children are traumatized by savages and become severely victimized. All authorities need to take stringent actions to prevent such types of diabolic acts.

Soiled Currency

In India, people have the strange habit of writing on money. It becomes irritable as some establishments will not accept a written currency. The ego of such people is strange and eccentric! What pride is there to make a scroll with a pen? Are they satisfying a writer’s ego? After demonetization new currencies which are written over will not be accepted. Strange are the ways of people’s habits.

Smoking Zones

The Indian Judiciary has taken a hard-bite at smokers. They have banned smoking in public places and they have imposed a burdensome fine. I believe that smoking is my privilege as I live in a democratic society. At least the judiciary could have shown humane kindness by introducing smoking zones. I have lived in Indonesia which is a smokers country. In all establishments including airports there are smoking zones. So is the case with Singapore and Malaysia. Sartre has said a smoker experiences the universe when he or she smokes. I hope the Indian Judiciary will introduce smoking zones in places.

Today I was reading the Sunday Newspaper which carried an article on Musli Power an Indian aurvedic medicine the equivalent of Viagra manufactured by Kunnath Pharmaceuticals. The newspaper was keen on propagating the product. It was then I got the neologism, ADVERMOCIAL advertisement carrying information. I suspect that the newspaper would have got a huge some from the producers. Is the ethics of fair journalism being violated?
