The Bible teaches us that WORDS are powerful things and we have to use them with care as words carry a curse or a cure or a blessing. I can quote one example from the Old Testament. When Jacob was leaving Laban (Rebecca was Laban’s Daughter) his uncle along with his wife Rebecca, Laban a pagan accused him of stealing his household Gods. To that Jacob replied that whoever has stolen them will be cursed and die. And when Rebecca was having pregnancy complications she succumbed to death. Another example is from the New Testament. While Jesus was traveling he came across a Fig Tree. He was feeling very hungry and to his irony it had no fruit though it was the fruiting time. Jesus cursed the Fig Tree and it withered. So the lesson is WORDS can generate blessings or curses.
Morn came up like sweet music. The chirps of tinsel echoed in the sky. I thank Jehovah Jesus for blessing my life and making me contented.
I am reading Paul’s Letter to the Corinthians and I would like to share some thoughts with you.
Paul talks of gifts coming from God. Yes God rewards us spiritually and materially. We have to constant in Prayer asking God to gift us with his choice.
Then Paul talks of infighting in the Church of Corinth. Paul gently pleads with to be at peace with one another.
Again Paul says that he didn’t come to Corinth to make a large following but because he was obedient to God’s Word.
The Message of the cross cannot be understood intellectually but only spiritually.
For the Jews to believe in Christ—they want signs and miracles. For the Greeks, they want Philosophical wisdom. This acts as a stumbling block for accepting the message of Christ. What is needed is simple Child like Faith when we approach God’s Kingdom.
The mystery of God is spiritual wisdom and not the wisdom of the street. Embracing God’s wisdom guarantees us a place in heaven. Paul encourages the Christians in Corinth to grow in Christian Faith.
Paul gently chides with them about sexual promiscuity in the church. Yes, the scripture is very clear that sexuality is a gift of God and should be practiced within the bounds of married life.
Paul cautions them to settle disputes amongst themselves and not take matters to court.
Paul recommends that if you have the desire to have sex, go get married. Sexuality is a gift of God and should be practiced in married life.
Paul again explains that God does not lie in Idols. There is only one God—the messiah Christ.
Paul again speaks of eating meat sacrificed before idols. He admits that it is possible with caution. He says that if a person who has just come to Christ sees a believer eating the food given to idols, he may loose his faith.
I am reading Paul’s Letters to the Romans and I would like to share with you some thoughts about it.
Paul is speaking about grace and the divinity of Christ. What is Grace Theology? It’s the abundant love and merciful blessings poured on us. God knows the desires of our heart and he is a God who will answer our prayers. The son of God was crucified and on third day he resurrected giving us a hope of eternal life with him. In this world we experience trials, tribulations and persecution but this is temporary compared to eternity in heaven.
God says through Paul: ‘I will make nobodies somebody’.
Paul talks of the Jewish Race of many who had not accepted Christ. He tells that Abraham’s descendant Isaac was born out of a divine command. Isaac is God’s promised Destiny for the Jewish nation. From Jacob God made a nation Israel. Paul laments at the failure of the Jews to choose the Messiah.
The fruit of salvation is trusting and being obedient to God. God’s relationship with us is one of faith, grace, mercy and love.
We must all know that a great revival is taking place in Israel. Many Jews are coming to Christ and they are called Messianic Jews.
Paul again prophecies that the hard hardheartedness of Israel is temporary. Yes we are witnessing a miracle happening in Israel.
‘Everything comes from him and everything happens through him. Take your everyday life as offering to God’.
In the morning, the sky was lit with colors. Fruits of nature flew in the sky. I am so happy to have Jehovah Jesus as my savor.
I have started reading Paul’s Letter to the Romans. I would like describe some thoughts said in it.
When Paul was preaching the Gospel to the Gentiles the Jews raised foul and fury that the gentiles are not circumcised. Then Paul replied that more important than circumcision is to have trust, faith and obedience in God.
Paul also speaks about the Genealogy of Christ. We all know that Christ descended from David’s Clan. We have to have knowledge about the Historical Christ and also have faith in the divine Christ.
Paul in the Letter to the Romans speaks of Abraham and he being obedient to the Will of God. God has Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaiah and he did it very obediently. We have to be rooted in the New Covenant set by Jesus. We must lead a life of purity and being without blemish.
Paul also talks of Baptism. There are two types of Baptism. One is spiritual Baptism being given by God and the other water Baptism. Water Baptism has three fold functions and they are Before Being Baptized we are like the crucified Christ and while being baptized we like the buried Christ and once baptism is over we are like the resurrected Christ.
Paul also talks the sin of Adam. Adam and his wife were expelled from the Garden because they ate fruit from the forbidden tree. God therefore had to send his son Jesus so that all mankind will be saved.
Today I was able to accomplish a lot by reading. I was able to write a commentary on great works of art. I feel so contented and happy. I thank Lord Jehovah Jesus for making my life happy.
I have started reading the Book of Acts and it is a commentary on the works done by the Disciples after the resurrection of Christ. I have also read into the conversion of Paul at Damascus. Thus we have the word Damascene which means a life changing situation. Remarkable is the way in which God could change the life of a person who was severely persecuting Christians. Paul became one of the greatest living apostles in the world. Paul as an idiom means Proselytizing people to Christianity.
Not all is well with Christianity in India. The present government is a pro-fascist-Hindu government. Things don’t augur well with missionaries working in the rural parts of India. They are stripped and paraded naked on the streets of India. Vermilion is scattered on their heads. Bibles are being burnt.
There is a horrific incident of a Missionary Graham Staines and his children (two boys) being torched alive in a jeep where they were traveling. Staines’ wife has forgiven them all out of Christian compassion.
I hope God Jehovah will give me the wisdom and understanding to be spokesperson of Christian Apologetics.
What is the Christian worldview related to the end of knowing? The end of knowing lies in belief. We can reason about Christ. But we can know the Holy Spirit and God the father with belief. Such kind of belief is called Para-epistemology from (Parapsychology and epistemology). What is belief? We have to believe because of Christ God who has revealed the word to us in flesh and blood. We have to believe that his death for the remission of sins was ordained from Heaven. We have to have a repentant heart and also be compassionate in nature. We should have a loving devotion to God. Being confessional in prayer can change even the most stained in sins. Our life is a rhythm and music composed by and composed for God and composed with God.
April 16, 2019
Morning was peaceful—the sky danced with an opera of colors—tinsel flew romantically in the sky—everything has the presence of God and indeed I am feeling richly blessed.
I am still reading the Gospel of Luke and I came across this strange parable. A man had three helpers to look after his finances. To the First one he gave 10000 Bucks and to second he gave 5000 Bucks and to the third he gave 1000 Bucks. Then he went off on long voyage. Coming back he asked them what he did with the money. The first one replied that he invested the money and doubled it 20000 Bucks. The second replied that he doubled it to 10000. The third replied that he hid it under the earth. What is the meaning of this parable? The parable contains a spiritual and economic meaning. Spiritually it exhorts be active to the calling of God’s voice and also have the responsibility to spread God’s Word and proselytize people to Christianity. Then materialistic meaning is we should be good stewards of money.
Figures of Speech
A poem flowered in the sky. Bards perched on the tree singing. The soul is a bouquet of emotion. May the granary of money fill my purse. Faith as a mustard can make it happen. The poetry on the bed is erotic. The sky poured in Streams of Consciousness. Manna is a miracle from Heaven. Sky thundered angrily. Passion is bodies making love. Literature is the painting of words. Love is a precious gift of God. Communism is a failed God. The abyss of emotion is angst. Time is a silent runner. Use language to clothe words in art. Life is the poetry of processing meaning. Palestine is a hot volcano. Life is a song of lyrical beauty. Politics is the drama of the chaotic. The pen frees your feeling and the pen becomes a traumatic cleanser. May the seed of the purse be filled with the fruit of money. Yes God died but resurrected on the third day. Literature is the ornament of poetry. What he is wearing is a peacock’s feather. The cares of this world should not worry you. Christ came for the sick sinner and not the physician. Wear the clothes of righteousness. Wear the shoes of luck. Wear a hat of positive thinking. Music you are poetry of the bed. Love is the most beautiful emotion and shines like a star, bequeathed by God. I have been freed from the chains of sin. Nirvana—you are potboiler of fiction. When he gets angry—he roars like thunder. Liberty is the gift of God. Dreams are a soul of reality. Luck—you blossomed flower—yield to my wishes. Send worry to the pits of hell. Hell is the fang of poison. Words are useful when they manifest into a reality. God said: I will give the nations as present and the continents as a gift. Attitude is a mantra for success. If poetry is the wife of literature, the husband of literature is prose. The first generation of Christians were Jews: the second generation were gentiles: the third generation: are messianic Jews. Adultery you are a fruit of poison. Solidarity is a pillar of strength for a democracy. Your dreams have been made to make you successful. Sin is an enemy a foe of God. The earth is mortal the heavens immortal. We have to be a Moses and Abraham obeying and being led by God’s Word. After winter comes Sunny days. Fear not says Jehovah Jesus: ‘I am with you’. Grass clothed the earth like Solomon’s garments. Money is needed for an affluent economic ritual. Beauty I have found you in the heart of God. Reason is the mind and passion the soul. Wings of luck soar to the clouds.
I was reading the Gospel of Mark and I got some inspiring thoughts which I want to share with you.
Parable of the Vineyard
Parable of the Vineyard is a famous parable told by Jesus. A man plants crops in a vineyard and appoints farmhands and goes on a holiday. After coming back, he sends a servant to collect the fruit. The farmhands beat him and then the master sends a second servant and they flog him. Then he sends a third servant and they murder him. Then the master thought if I send my son they will be kind to him. So the master sends his son. They dastardly kill the son. Jesus asked them what the master will do. They replied that they will be executed. This parable is an allegory of Jesus himself. God sent the prophets and the evangelists before him (like John the Baptist). They were treated cruelly and some were murdered and became martyrs of God’s Kingdom. The planter of the Vineyard who sent his son is an allegory of how Jesus will be crucified and martyred.
When Jesus was questioned by the Pharisees about paying taxes: Jesus asked them to show a coin. Then Jesus asked them whose image was on it. They replied that it was the image of Caesar. That’s when Christ replied to them: ‘pay unto Caesar what is his and give unto me what is mine’. There’s a verse of hope inherent in what Christ has said. There’s a guarantee that if we take care of our spiritual life then our Father God in Heaven will take care of our material needs.
The Pharisees who were clever as serpents asked Jesus a question. There was a family of seven brothers. When each of the brothers died each of the living took into marriage the same wife. They by sheer sophistry asked who will the wife belong to in heaven. Jesus adeptly replied: ‘you brood of vipers: in heaven she will belong to God and she like all those who have been saved will their intimacies and ecstasies with God.
