Prayer in One’s Life
While reading the Gospels, I encountered many a time Jesus taking time to pray. After addressing the multitudes, he used to go to the mountain to pray. He also taught the disciples to pray. How do we pray? First of all we have to give all honor, glory and worship to God. With prayer God opens his wings of favor, compassion and grace. With prayer we receive the gifts of God. Doors are which are closed open. Prayer is a window to healing. Prayer is a veil for protections. Prayer is the abundant receiving of God’s grace. Prayer also gives comfort to those who are coping loss of a loved one. Prayer is the gift of the Holy Spirit
Morning woke me up with a song. The birds chirped happily. Clouds were gay with mirth. I kissed my wife going for exam invigilation. I thank Jehovah Jesus for all the mercies, love and affection.
Understanding the Trinity
The trinity—the Father, Son and Holy Ghost has baffled me for years. Is it a logical fallacy (wrong method of reasoning) of the text? The Trinity is a divine mystery and belongs to the realm of esoteric wisdom. I asked God in prayer for providing me with understanding. Here lies a humble answer. The trinity is one God having three identities. The Father is the Divine: The Son the Human (God made man in his own image) and the spirit being the third person. It was the identity of the Son that came on earth and was crucified for our sins. The mystery is an Enigma and has to be understood with Faith.
Parable of the Neighbor
I am still reading the Gospel of Luke and I came across the Parable of the Neighbor. Once upon a time there was a person. And to his house came guest. There was no food in the house. So the man went to the neighbor’s house and asked for some food. The neighbor said that all are sleeping and beckoned him off. But the man persisted in knocking and finally the reluctant neighbor got up and gave him a loaf of bread. What does Jesus mean by this parable? Be persistent in Prayer and ‘ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE’. Yes God is there to take care of all our material needs. Parable of the Neighbor as Idiom means God providing for all your material needs. Oh God Jehovah Jesus become the Parable of the Neighbor for me.
When Jesus was healing the afflicted: the Pharisees ridiculed him by saying what he is doing is ABRACADBRA, the work of the Devil. Then Jesus answered: Will God drive out God and Will Satan drive out Satan. Will God drive out God is an idiom for Spiritual Logic. We have to have faith that God will not drive out God.
When Jesus spoke among the crowd: a woman cried out: ‘blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts that nourished you.’ The Jesus replied that: ‘Blessed are the people who obey the word of God’. It is clear that you can’t worship God and Mary. Yes Jesus is condemning all forms of idolatry. Is Mariolatry a blasphemy? The answer is left to intelligence of the reader.
Existential Nihilism adheres to the Philosophy that life is chaotic and absurd. And at the same time: the philosophers contradict by saying that: ‘you have to authenticate your existence’. For me life is neither chaotic nor absurd. Life and being are continually being processed. This processing of life is called processual ontology. For being a Postmodern Existentialist: Life for me lies in VALUBLELIZATION (from value and realization). Again we should live life with a purpose and such a life would be an ideal life and is called as being a life of a purposeist (purpose and ism)
Again I would like to Fictionalize and Philosophize the meaning of art on to existential ontology. Art has four states: Experiencesy, Catharsis, Angst and Ecstasy.
Experiencesy is the occurrence of daily: we cognize and we also respond to stimuli with our senses. For example: I can taste sugar and know that it is sweet.
Catharsis (For Aristotle meant purification of the soul) is a higher level of experience and involves, thinking feeling and willing. Catharsis is the VALUEBLIIZATION of feeling. For example I am cathartic when I enjoy the beauty and fragrance of a flower.
The Third form of art is angst (the feeling of nausea). Nausea can be physical (the pain of a cancer patient) or mental (like the bereavement of a loved one).
Ecstasy is a pure form of art and enjoys the poetry of the bed. Ecstasy is a pure surrender to the passions of love. Making love is a form of erotic poetry, a music sublime. God has willed that man and woman are one bodily fruit. Ecstasy is God’s Gift.
Philosophical etymology is the Aesthetization (Aesthetics and realization) of a word with cultural, philosophical and literary meanings. Philosophical Etymology belongs to the realm of Deconstructive Theology. The Guru of deconstruction Jacques Derrida introduced the term binary divide. Binary divide is a process of textual interpretation whereby we can find how texts marginalize and privilege meaning. For example: White is privileged over black and colored. Native English Speakers are privileged over non native speakers for teaching English. From Derrida I have developed a new sign for textuality called Binary Fusion. Binary fusion is inclusive texts. They do not privilege meaning for some people and marginalize meaning for others. Jazz, Blues and Gospel, the divine gift of black culture are a Binary Fusion of being globalized into the Universal culture of music. Indian English having the pride of 50 years of independence should become a Binary Fusion of being accepted as a global language.
Oedipalization/ Phallic Texts/ and Vaginal Texts/
Oedipalization refers to a harmonious personality and the one which not tinged with Freudian complexes, mainly the sexual attachment with father and the mother which is a blasphemy of the psyche. To acquire Oedipalization one must overcome one’s own cultural and social upbringing.
Phallic Texts are texts that dominate the man over the woman. The text which says: language is the domain of man is a phallic text.
Vaginal Texts are texts that balance the feminine with that of the masculine. Examples are s/he wo/man.
Colored psyche floating in the air—you are a copulating Jazz of rhythms—you are gentle loving passionate soul—you are canticle of verses from the bard’s mouth—you are voluptuous litany of prose in marvel.
Oh God Christ blossom my pen into a flower of fame. God is the ideal of all governments. Lord let me taste the luck of fortune. Beauty thy form is God and content, the word becoming flesh. I value God Christ, far more than the muses for my creative thoughts. Oh Lord Christ let me body be not cast into the net of temptation. The blossomed flower, the chanting of the brook, the seasons of change, (God I long to see them) are hymns of nature—a poetry for the soul. Don’t make your soul a shallow stream. The WORD of God is honey for the soul. Addiction is the habit of a demon. Don’t be a beast that harbors grudge. I have stopped living in the land of adultery. Patience is the seed, passion the tree and victory is the fruit. God is there to walk with me when I am having storms. Communism is a dead idol that lives in the land of Kerala. God is the pillar of forgiveness and love. Don’t knock on the doors of a harlot. Eroticism is God’s gift and lust is the devil’s temptation. Victory—I am patience waiting for you to happen. My God Christ is a living God, a God of Love, Truth and Grace. Grip the images of pornography and hurl them out of your mind. The brook murmured sweetly. In every desert of disappointment there’s an oasis of hope. Meditate the tune of nature and she will give you a song to sing. Rhythms and Melodies are the epiphanies of God. Don’t live to make others smile. Your greatest friend is the one who shows you your shortcomings. Pride has the vanity of a fang. Celebrate nature: she is a beautiful song. Emulate God rather than celebrities and you will find that life is good. Good company is melody for the soul. Lord thank you for forgiving my transgressions in you I sin no more. A blessing from God is better than large sums of Money. The clouds were bearing the veils of happiness. Oh Lord Christ, give me the grace to see grandchildren. Hope is the song of the heard. When you are tempted: turn to God. Anger, covetousness and envy all are hell’s damned offerings: partake not in them. Oh God Christ: master architect of the Universe, you are symphony so divine. Teach me OH LORD CHRIST to have FAITH as SMALL AS A MUSTARD SEED: Apply the same in my daily life. Make music out of life. A walk with nature is like Guitar whose strings are being plucked. Wear the clothes of goodness. Let peace be your soulful friend. Learn from life: remember the past: anchor the present and hope the future. Let not the witches of despair cloud your life. The Parables of Jesus abound in Wisdom. Lord Christ do not make me wait in vain. Lord Christ: I am asking in hope and I hope what I ask shall be received. Hell is a monster and Heaven a God.
Morning walked across the sky lazily, spraying an aroma of colors. Tiny dwarfs of the earth chanted melodies.
I thank God for this beautiful Saturday morn. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife and two gorgeous children. My son is autistic and I am praying to God for his healing. My daughter with her teen life could have gone into muddy waters, but thanks to God and the blessed counseling of spiritual brothers, she is in beautiful water and is happily pursuing a course in dental science.
I was intensely reading the Gospel of Mathew and I came upon some new discoveries. There was a youth who wanted to follow Jesus and said to Jesus: I have obeyed all your commands. Then Jesus said to him: sell all your riches and give it to the poor and the needy and then follow me. The youth went away distraught. Jesus said to his disciples it is more difficult for a man with riches to enter the kingdom of Heaven than for a Camel to enter the eye of a needle. I was awe-struck by this profound metaphor. Yes, Christ the Lord teaches in the Lord’s Prayer: ‘Father Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread’. It is virtually impossible for a man with riches to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I wonder how God will judge celebrity Evangelists who flaunt their wealth and are out to dupe the innocent. Is Christianity a way of making money? The answer is no! Is Christianity a way of making millions? Is it right for Christian evangelists to show off with flashy sport cars and private Jets which are luxurious? Are they emulating Christ who lived a simple life? Aren’t they being hypocrites!
When the little children came to Jesus, they were shooed away by the disciples. Jesus said bring the little ones to me. The Jesus said: whoever wants to enter the kingdom of heaven must be like little Children. Little Children as an idiom means, being morally pure. I was addicted to pornography and during that time I was far away from being a little child. It is hard for grownups to be little children.
Then I came across the amazing Parable of Jesus. An estate manager wanted to hide laborers for his vineyard. In the morning he went to the market and hired people and offered them wages. This he went in the afternoon and evening and did the same. When the labor was over: he distributed the same wages. The workers complained that this was unfair. The estate manager replied that the giving of wages is left to the discretion of the master. It means that an early bird and a late bird catches the worm equally. Christ does not discriminate between the early and the late comers.
Then as I was reading the Gospel of Mathew, Jesus took some of his disciples and went on top of a hill and underwent transmogrification (change of form). Jesus changed his form into a divine body. Moses and Elijah were also with him. His body shone like the rays of the sun and his eyes twinkled with fire. There was a rainbow of a halo on his head. Transmogrification as idiom means having a spiritual character. Humans housed in the body of flesh find it difficult to be transmogrified. We have to develop the nature of transmogrification.
