April 18, 2019
Morning roared to glory—a fiesta for the senses—grass lay like white pearls—mushrooms chirped— I thank God Jehovah for making my life beautiful.

I was able to complete the Autobiography My Story written by Kamala Das. I also finished another novel: The Tin Drum by Gunter Grass. I have lovely little library with a collection of Books, ranging from Fiction, Philosophy and poetry. Since the school is closed I have no work to do. I am able to idle around like a Sultan.

What is there to write? I wonder at the very statement! How does writing occur? Let’s look at writing from a Freudian point of view. A writer has to balance the ID with Ego and the Super Ego. The ID (the body’s desires) is sensual and erotic and the ego (culture and language assimilated) and the Superego (laws of the society) are to be in balance. In short the writer is an acrobat, tight-rope-walking on these three poles. At an earlier point of time my world view was different. I maintained the view: glorify the ID, deify the ego and subvert the super ego. If one goes according to that worldview there would be chaos and anarchy. Such an anarchic worldview was the one propounded by the existential Philosophers like Sartre and Camus. I have converted their existential nihilism into existential positivism. Let me explain it. An existential positivist has a purpose in being and therefore s/he is a purposist (purpose and ism). Life for Purposist lies in Valueablization (value and realization). Existential positivism is a new post-post modern philosophy with its involvement as constructive positivism. Life for the purposist is no longer the Sisyphus who rolls a boulder uphill only to find that the Gods have rolled it down. Life is no drudgery. Existential positivism belongs to the Philosophy of Value Epistemology. Another theme for Valublelization is Globalization. Globalization has so far taken place in the economic and cultural spheres. The ultimate form of Globalization should be the spread of peace, the abolition of weapons, absence of war and all nations being engaged dialogic compassion. Such a kind of globalization can be called Christablization (Christ and abilization). The Christian ethic of don’t beggar your neighbor but enrich him or her should become a reality. Post Post modernism from an ontological point of view lies in the realm of Value epistemology.

I came across a verse in the Gospel of John: “you can live off his generosity—he will pour a gift, a gift and a gift”. Lord Jehovah Jesus, my finances are running low. Grab a grain full of granary and replenish my purse and my bank account.

Evening passed by with the clouds forming a grey impressionistic canvas. Thunder grumbled and I am waiting for rain to occur.

I was thinking about the Holy Communion. Christ called his disciples and took some bread and broke it and said to them: ‘this is my body so eat it’. He took some wine and said to them: ‘this is my blood and drink it.’ I am wondering if the Holy Communion should be done by the clergy. Should it! My answer is no. Every day I take some bread and water and offer it as libation to Christ the savior.

It was cloudy for a long time. It has started raining now. How beautiful are the wet showers. Rain is pouring gently on the earth. Are they the tears of the sky? Is the sky weeping in joy? If you are tuned to nature you get rid of worries and sorrows of this world. Nature is God’s Gift. The robes of nature are more beautiful than Solomon’s robes.

According to Semitic religions like Judaism and Islam it is customary for males to get circumcised. One Muslim friend of mine told me to get circumcised. I did it for his satisfaction. Am I better off or worse? I don’t know. It was the Apostle Paul who said that the gentiles need not be circumcised.

Elections are round the corner. There are three major parties contesting elections. They are left, the Congress and the far right. The far right want to make India into religious country. The left party is a party with fallen ideals and who won’t get a majority. Which party should a secular person vote for? We should vote for a party promoting liberal, secular ideals.

April 17th 2019

It was an ordinary day I was reading the autobiography of the world renowned poetess from Kerala Kamala Das. Remarkable are her eloquent words. Her child memories and her coming to sexual maturity are mixed in the font of narrative epiphanies. She did not know the meaning intercourse till her marriage.
I am writing another novel and I am adding bits and pieces of it in my blog. Sometimes you come across occasion when you are stuck for words. Thankfully I have not had the writer’s block so far.
I have had no luck at the windfall and my money position and my purse are empty. I hope God will tide this over and put wings of flight in my purse. But I am in the habit of thinking positively and I have come across an idiom: Rob a Bank. Rob A Bank as an Idiom means accumulating a large sum of money through a windfall. There’s a UAE lottery for a whooping 15 Million and I hope God will give me the grace to buy the tickets. The draw is on May the third. Yes, I want to travel all over the world, see people, Places, taste cuisines and write about it all. Yes my God Jehovah Jesus is not an idol and he will answer all my prayers.
With regard to my writing I am imitating the styles of writing of various periods. For example my narrative: ‘Valley of Sin’ is based on the famous novel Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan. I am using various types of literary devices like Allusions, Parable, Puns, Idioms and Figures of Speech. I am very much fond of the narrative devices like the pastiche and the lampoon. So far I have written only novelettes and I hope this time I will be able to bring out a novel. I ask my God Jehovah Jesus to fertilize my mind with winds of imagination. The highest form of the novel is pure art and it rests on Philosophical Fiction a genre I have coined. A novel should adorn the sea of the mind, the inner talking of consciousness. A novel should paint pictures with tropes. Character is the adornment of the soul. Plots are bringing out mysteries. A novel should narrate older texts with the language of inter-textuality. A novel is a vast sea of becoming. Time in the novel is of two types: Narrative time and symbolic time. Narrative time is the inner time like streams of consciousness and symbolic time is external time. What is character in the novel? Character is the resonance of the soul. How can the mystery of the plot be introduced? There are two types of plots a symbolic plot where the readers know the mystery and characters are kept hidden. There’s also another plot called the revealed plot where the reader has to keep on guessing as to what will happen. A philosophical novel can also be epistolary, that is writing the daily life of the author. In the traditional novel there are only two types Buildungsroman and the Kunstlerroman. And these two types Buildungsroman (the stage of novelist recording biography) and Kunstlrroman (the aesthetic development of the novelist) are very narrow terms to describe a novel. A matured explanation is the Novel is a work of art.

April 13th

Morning woke me up with a song. The birds chirped happily. Clouds were gay with mirth. I kissed my wife going for exam invigilation. I thank Jehovah Jesus for all the mercies, love and affection.

Understanding the Trinity

The trinity—the Father, Son and Holy Ghost has baffled me for years. Is it a logical fallacy (wrong method of reasoning) of the text? The Trinity is a divine mystery and belongs to the realm of esoteric wisdom. I asked God in prayer for providing me with understanding. Here lies a humble answer. The trinity is one God having three identities. The Father is the Divine: The Son the Human (God made man in his own image) and the spirit being the third person. It was the identity of the Son that came on earth and was crucified for our sins. The mystery is an Enigma and has to be understood with Faith.

Parable of the Neighbor

I am still reading the Gospel of Luke and I came across the Parable of the Neighbor. Once upon a time there was a person. And to his house came guest. There was no food in the house. So the man went to the neighbor’s house and asked for some food. The neighbor said that all are sleeping and beckoned him off. But the man persisted in knocking and finally the reluctant neighbor got up and gave him a loaf of bread. What does Jesus mean by this parable? Be persistent in Prayer and ‘ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE’. Yes God is there to take care of all our material needs. Parable of the Neighbor as Idiom means God providing for all your material needs. Oh God Jehovah Jesus become the Parable of the Neighbor for me.

When Jesus was healing the afflicted: the Pharisees ridiculed him by saying what he is doing is ABRACADBRA, the work of the Devil. Then Jesus answered: Will God drive out God and Will Satan drive out Satan. Will God drive out God is an idiom for Spiritual Logic. We have to have faith that God will not drive out God.
When Jesus spoke among the crowd: a woman cried out: ‘blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts that nourished you.’ The Jesus replied that: ‘Blessed are the people who obey the word of God’. It is clear that you can’t worship God and Mary. Yes Jesus is condemning all forms of idolatry. Is Mariolatry a blasphemy? The answer is left to intelligence of the reader.

Philosophical Musings
Existential Nihilism adheres to the Philosophy that life is chaotic and absurd. And at the same time: the philosophers contradict by saying that: ‘you have to authenticate your existence’. For me life is neither chaotic nor absurd. Life and being are continually being processed. This processing of life is called processual ontology. For being a Postmodern Existentialist: Life for me lies in VALUBLELIZATION (from value and realization). Again we should live life with a purpose and such a life would be an ideal life and is called as being a life of a purposeist (purpose and ism)

Fictional Philosophy
Again I would like to Fictionalize and Philosophize the meaning of art on to existential ontology. Art has four states: Experiencesy, Catharsis, Angst and Ecstasy.
Experiencesy is the occurrence of daily: we cognize and we also respond to stimuli with our senses. For example: I can taste sugar and know that it is sweet.
Catharsis (For Aristotle meant purification of the soul) is a higher level of experience and involves, thinking feeling and willing. Catharsis is the VALUEBLIIZATION of feeling. For example I am cathartic when I enjoy the beauty and fragrance of a flower.
The Third form of art is angst (the feeling of nausea). Nausea can be physical (the pain of a cancer patient) or mental (like the bereavement of a loved one).
Ecstasy is a pure form of art and enjoys the poetry of the bed. Ecstasy is a pure surrender to the passions of love. Making love is a form of erotic poetry, a music sublime. God has willed that man and woman are one bodily fruit. Ecstasy is God’s Gift.

Philosophical Etymology

Philosophical etymology is the Aesthetization (Aesthetics and realization) of a word with cultural, philosophical and literary meanings. Philosophical Etymology belongs to the realm of Deconstructive Theology. The Guru of deconstruction Jacques Derrida introduced the term binary divide. Binary divide is a process of textual interpretation whereby we can find how texts marginalize and privilege meaning. For example: White is privileged over black and colored. Native English Speakers are privileged over non native speakers for teaching English. From Derrida I have developed a new sign for textuality called Binary Fusion. Binary fusion is inclusive texts. They do not privilege meaning for some people and marginalize meaning for others. Jazz, Blues and Gospel, the divine gift of black culture are a Binary Fusion of being globalized into the Universal culture of music. Indian English having the pride of 50 years of independence should become a Binary Fusion of being accepted as a global language.

Oedipalization/ Phallic Texts/ and Vaginal Texts/
Oedipalization refers to a harmonious personality and the one which not tinged with Freudian complexes, mainly the sexual attachment with father and the mother which is a blasphemy of the psyche. To acquire Oedipalization one must overcome one’s own cultural and social upbringing.
Phallic Texts are texts that dominate the man over the woman. The text which says: language is the domain of man is a phallic text.
Vaginal Texts are texts that balance the feminine with that of the masculine. Examples are s/he wo/man.
Colored psyche floating in the air—you are a copulating Jazz of rhythms—you are gentle loving passionate soul—you are canticle of verses from the bard’s mouth—you are voluptuous litany of prose in marvel.

Lampooning The Tarot

The Magician

There’s nothing psychic about you.  Real life is a life of hard work. Persistence and perseverance will to lead to accomplishing goals. There’s no magic in you and you are only a piece of paper.

The High Priestess

How can an idol like you predict one’s   future and fortune? Woe to those who sprinkle incense at your altar.  The sacred feminine is an ordinary woman working hard to make both ends meet. If you occur in a reading, shoo and pooh you.

Empress

You have become decadent in the annals of History. You bring no luck and fortune. I am going to rubbish you into the dustbin.

Emperor

Woe to you foolish creature. Life is simple and not a complicated royalty. People love the single things of life and they do not require a tarot reading.

Hierophant

Nature and God will outlive you as being teachers of humanity.  There is nothing esoteric about you. You have fooled millions of people with your tarot reading.

Lovers

Real and romantic love is to be found in humans and not in a card. Real love is emotions and ecstasy. If you occur in a reading, you will be discarded as a pile of junk.

The Chariot

The Chariot has relevance to contemporary life as something that moves. The chariot is a machine. How can the Chariot show the future? That’s baloney. If a chariot occurs in a reading, kiss the earth and say goodbye.

Strength

How can strength be found in a card? How can strength predict the future of a person? Strength is connoted with lexical meaning and it means bodily strength and also a quality of the mind.

Hermit

No one loves to live life in seclusion. Hermit is a misnomer. Humans have the tendency to be passionate about life. Yes Hermit as a Metaphor means solitude of nature.

The Wheel of Fortune

The Wheel of Fortune is the most baffling card. If drawn, it predicts good luck. That never happens. Count on your fortunes as a blessing from God. If the wheel fortune is drawn: tear it and say Hello loudly.

Justice

How can the card Justice imply the quality of being fair? Justice is legality and left to the courts. How can justice show an aspect of life? If Justice comes in a reading, give a tiny scratch and turn the lights on.

Hanged Man

A hanged Man is showing a person on a tree lying relaxed. Hanged Man is an aberration for a God which has created human beings. Cough up the symbolism of the tarot and put your trust in God.

Death

Death is a card that harbors negativity. Just rebuke it with the blood of Jesus. The Tarot is all lies. If you get the card of death, put it in water and eat a gooseberry.

Temperance

The Lexical meaning is thus: being abstinent from alcohol and drugs. Humans are emotional people and they need to exhibit their feelings. If you get the card Temperance, grease it out with ink.

The Devil

The Devil is a beastly tempest. Why should invite the Devil into one’s life? Being one with God we have to live a life purity and virtue. If the Devil card comes in reading burn it up.

The Tower

The Tower in the Tarot symbolizes ruin and profligacy. The tower is not a negative thing but a positive one, symbolizing strength and determination.  If the Tarot occurs in a reading, say Hallelujah Amen and make the paper into bits and pieces.

The Star

The Star in the Tarot symbolizes good luck and fortune. How can one put one’s trust in bits of paper? It is better to rely on God than on the tarot. If the tarot comes in a reading, wash it by saying: I won’t sing no more.

Analysis of Orwell’s 1984

Orwell

George Orwell the Nobel Laureate is famous for his novels like ‘Animal Farm’ and 1984. Most of the novels of Orwell are dissolving the sugar and spice of Communist Regimes. His writing has fertilized us with the imagination that a communist idol is a fish gone stale.

The protagonist of the Novel is Winston is a bored lethargic character. All his life, his inner consciousness, he exhibits frustration with the Communist regime. The country portrayed in the Novel is a hidden allegory portraying the dead USSR. All the ministries are under the control of the Communist party.

Orwell satirizes the entertainment industry. The industry propagandizes State Ideals.  It shows democratic ideals are decadent and defunct. The industry is a thorough brain washing of personal likes and shifts people’s attitudes and consumerism into propagandizm.

The Novel 1984 describes a situation whereby anyone not loyal to the State gets punished to death. There’s no freedom to cast opinions.  Communism is a beast that Stalinizes and Armageddonizes freedom.

The protagonist Winston is portrayed as slave who is trapped in the fangs of communism and yet wanting to break free. Government offices are bureaus of a monster wanting to desecrate life.

The slogans of the party: Freedom is Slavery: War is peace: Ignorance is Strength are oxymorons satireizing the autocracy of the Communist junta. All theses slogans point out a psychological narcissism, a mirror stage of Lacan, a gaze of a Private-is-a –Public –business and pigmyfies individual into a   morass of mental poverty. The people of the communist country are regimented automatons.

The Communist Party tyrannizes consumerism.  The shops are owned by the government and many a time they are unable to supply things needed by the public.

There’s no freedom to think and explore thoughts. Out of two citizens one is a spy and belongs to the secret police. It’s an irony that there’s no family relationship and in a family the wife or the husband can betray you.

The protagonist Winston is nostalgic of Catherine from whom he was separated for 17 years. Winston is a creative intellectual trapped in the gulag of Communism and he expresses his freedom writing journals.

The novel describes the purges carried out by Stalin. Stalinization is the killing of innocents for the sake of ideology.

The Communist Party uses subversive tactics to demoralize and dethrone the earlier regimes and tries to promote Communism as a God. The wretch of ideology plays with information and seduces individuals into myopia of becoming.

Musings

I am writing a novel of 30000 Words and I am posting bits and chunks of it in my blog. I am so happy to have been read and liked.
The Novel is called: WORD BECAME FLESH and it is an allegory of the human and the divine in Christ Jesus.

I have denounced all ties with Occult and Satanism and I am fully redeemed in Christ. The Bible is a fantastic Book giving new insights every day. The Bible is the best work of Literature. It does not mean that I don’t encounter temptations; I do, in the walk of life and when I do I rebuke it by the blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus is POWER and demons flee. You can heal people with the Blood of Jesus. I have stopped dallying in dating sites and I devote my attention wholeheartedly to my wife. During my trials and tribulations she has stood strong as a rock. I have had multiple affairs and she has forgiven me and given me her heart.

I saw two trees flowered like music in the garden. One was purple flowered and shone in opulence. The other called as Vishu tree Cassia Fistula had bearings of yellow. Vishu is a New Year festival celebrated in Kerala. There’s something called Vishu Keni and it means giving coins for luck throughout the year. There’s also a bumper lottery draw. I wonder who will be the winner this year. Yes, Jehovah has made nature so beautiful. My heart sung a song of Joy. Christ has told me appreciate nature taking joy in little things of life. My heart underwent a passionate catharsis and I felt like I am making love. God is a mystic, engineering nature’s creation.
After coming to God Christ, I have stopped looking lecherously at women. Before coming to Christ I was a lecher. I remember Christ’s words: ‘if your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out’

Joyce

Joyce was a writer who tried to wean himself away from Catholicism and his writing became an objet d’ art. To what extent was he successful? Remarkable are his epiphanies in prose. Joyce was a person who experimented with the novel. The Ulysses is an epic novel, book of 800 pages covering a life of 12 hrs. I have written a novelette called Fictopia, a novelette lasting only a few seconds. As a writer I am always in search for the avant garde. Joyce was master of streams of consciousness a technique to express the inner consciousness of the writer.
There’s a paradigm shift talking place with the Novel of Postmodernism. There is very little importance given to the plot. I am sorry to say that pulp fiction, easy-go-entertainment-readers are still popular with the masses. Novels should become reader-interpreting texts. A postmodern novel is a philosophical novel of ideas, of innovation, a literature of new idioms, neologisms, new figures of speech, of playing with the language. A postmodern novel is a work of art.

Allegorical Pun

I have discovered a New Figure of Speech called the Allegorical-Pun. Now what is an allegory? It is clothing the language with symbols. The pilgrim’s progress is a classical example of an allegorical novel. A pun is a play of words. My allegorical pun is this. Example: The Lamb became the Lamp. The Lamb is the mortal body of Christ and the Lamp is his divinity. Christ while living on earth balanced his divinity and mortality.

The Raven that Fed Elijah

There is a story in the Old Testament of the Prophet Elijah who had to go into hiding. At that time God send a raven to feed him with meat and bread. As an Idiom it means a God that will satisfy all our material needs. My life is that of a Raven that fed Elijah.
